The last two days of the Icefall Traverse were nothing short of perfect. We left the Lodge, skiing up to Ice Pass under beautiful blue skies. Everyone thought the long rollercoaster ski down to the Rostrum Cabin was one of the best runs of the tour.
Day 4 of the Icefall Traverse began with a sporty descent down Lyell Creek, involving plenty of ski shenanigans to keep ourselves (mostly) out of the creek. Once we reached the gates of the Portal, it was a long grind up to Portal Pass below the mass
