Wapta Ski Traverse
April 8-12 2021
This is Canada’s premier ski touring traverse. Traveling along the continental divide over the Wapta and Waputik Icefields, this trip gives access to some amazing ski mountaineering and scenic touring objectives. Utilizing Alpine Club of Canada’s hut system, we will ski in remote, glaciated terrain but have some of the comforts that fully unsupported trips might lack. We will spend 5 days along the Wapta, taking extra time at the Peyto Hut to enjoy some of the amazing ski descents nearby. This is a trip for those who desire adventure and challenge, and we will be sure to have lots of both.
