Svalbard Ski Cruise
Ski in the Arctic Circle
Starting our trip from Longyearbyen, part of the remote northern archipelago of Svalbard, we cast off for the trip of a lifetime. We spend our nights on the MV Ulla Rinman, a spacious 75 foot ice class vessel, and head to shore each day to explore the many ski lines this wild land has to offer.
the ultimate experience
Our focus is skiing, and we will be able to enjoy long runs down to the water off glaciated peaks in powder conditions as well as spring corn, but this ski trip is like no other.
This majestic place is home to numerous species of wildlife, including polar bears, walrus, Arctic fox, reindeer and blue whales.
Ski Hard, Relax in Style
We spend our nights on the MV Ulla Rinman, a spacious 75 foot ice class vessel, and head to shore each day via an inflatable dinghy to explore the many ski lines this wild land has to offer.
Equipped with all of the amenities, it is a comfortable boat to relax on in between our many amazing ski days.
Itinerary:
April 30: Arrive to Longyearbyen on the morning flight via Oslo, Norway. If you want to arrive a day or two earlier, we can ski tour near town, or visit some local ice caves.
We then head to the docks to drop gear on the boat, and then head into town to pick up any last minute supplies you might want on board. We cast off at 5pm and then head out on our adventure.
May 1-6: Each day we wake up, have a hearty breakfast and then load into the Zodiac to head to shore to ski amidst the unreal scenery and wildlife. Back on ship we can relax on deck with a glass of wine or even decide to go back out for a ski under the midnight sun!
May 7: We arrive back to Longyearbyen in the morning, with enough time to be able to catch the afternoon flight back to Oslo.
